Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS as applicable.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to meet reporting deadlines.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with the preparation of tax filings.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to multinational clients or business consulting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and familiarity with financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
