Senior Associate – Accountant

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS as applicable.
  • Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with the preparation of tax filings.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to multinational clients or business consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and familiarity with financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
