Social Media Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals and increase brand visibility.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content for various social media platforms, including
  • Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and industry news, and respond to comments and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to produce visual and written content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics tools, generate reports, and provide insights to improve strategy and content.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of social media marketing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with influencers and industry partners to enhance brand reach and engagement.
  • Conduct social media audits and assess competitors’ strategies to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a track record of managing successful social media campaigns.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, tools, and analytics (e.g., Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics).
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored to different audiences.
  • Experience with social media advertising and knowledge of paid media strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting data to drive strategy and performance improvements.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) is a plus.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for social media and digital marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
